The Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor are less than 5 minutes by walk. A metro station (L2 Opera) very close to the apartment. A nice walk in the Austrias district from the apartment is from the Toledo street which leads to the famous Rastro market and very close to the Royal Palace, one of the most impressing building of Madrid and the Opera Teatro Real.
